Denise is eternally grateful for her faith, her beloved husband, Chris, and their five grown children. After a significant conversion in college, she had the privilege of building up the Catholic Church in different roles including faith formation, Bible studies, small faith groups, and music ministry. She finds joy in accompanying others on their faith journey and has a MA in pastoral theology and educational psychology. In her spare time, Denise enjoys writing, reading, playing the piano, watching true-to-life films, and pretty much anything outdoors: jogging, birding, gardening, stargazing.

Some of her go-to saints are the Blessed Mother Mary, St. Joseph, St. Carlo Acutis and St. John the Evangelist. One beloved scripture passage is "Behold, I make all things new." Rev 21:5
