Family Evangelization
Family Evangelization
The family is the Domestic Church and the fundamental building block of the local parish. It is within the family that faith is first introduced, built upon, and brought to maturity. Pope St. John Paul II taught:
“As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.” (John Paul II, Homily to Perth, Australia)
The Parish Support Team is here to help implement family evangelization models, engage parents in their own faith and the faith of their children, and renew the domestic church.
Ways we can help
- Renew your sacramental preparation processes
- Launch family evangelization programs
- Form parents theologically and train parents as catechists
- Train your ministry leaders in the Process of Evangelization and Discipleship
- Create a strategy for family evangelization
