YOUTH EVANGELIZATION
Our Purpose
Young people need significant accompaniment and prayer on their journey of discipleship. The Church teaches:
“Christ draws near to young people in order to listen to them, teach them, and send them forth, filled with the Holy Spirit to ‘be protagonists of the revolution of charity and service.’” (USCCB, Listen, Teach, Send)
The Parish Support Team is here to help your youth encounter Jesus, grow in virtue, and radiate Christ.
Ways we can help
- Renew your Confirmation process
- Train your ministry leaders in the Process of Evangelization and Discipleship
- Launch evangelizing large and small group ministries
- Create a strategy for youth evangelization
- On-board new youth evangelists

Featured Partnership
As of July 2024, the AOC officially partners with NET Ministries to provide direct ministry to youth, and formation and training opportunities to youth evangelists throughout the archdiocese. Parishes can apply to be a “Partner Parish” with access to the full suite of NET resources and events, or start out with a free YDisciple Premium membership. NET Ministries is a consistent source of relational ministry tools and evangelist training, and we look forward to continuing to make their offerings more accessible to parishes.

Bio: I most recently was a member of the Youth Ministry team at the Jesuit Spiritual Center in Milford. In 2022, I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Dayton with a BA in Religious Studies & Theology and a minor in Theatre, Dance, & Performance Technology. During my college years I worked as a liturgy intern and as a music minister in Campus Ministry, and as a summer missionary at Damascus Catholic Mission Campus.
A Little About Me: I'm originally from Rock Falls, IL. My parents still live there, and I have an older brother in Minneapolis. I love music and the arts. I'm a singer and a bassist, always finding opportunities to lead and participate in worship. I find a lot of life in the outdoors, particularly around water, and I have a deep love for liturgy, especially the Eucharist.
Favorite Saint: St. Joan of Arc and St. Padre Pio
Favorite Bible verse: “After this I had a vision of a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation, race, people, and tongue. They stood before the throne and before the Lamb, wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands. They cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation comes from our God, who is seated on the throne, and from the Lamb.” All the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They prostrated themselves before the throne, worshiped God, and exclaimed: “Amen. Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving, honor, power, and might be to our God forever and ever. Amen.” Then one of the elders spoke up and said to me, “Who are these wearing white robes, and where did they come from?” I said to him, “My lord, you are the one who knows.” He said to me, “These are the ones who have survived the time of great distress; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. “For this reason they stand before God’s throne and worship him day and night in his temple. The one who sits on the throne will shelter them. They will not hunger or thirst anymore, nor will the sun or any heat strike them. For the Lamb who is in the center of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs of life-giving water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”” Revelation 7:9-17
